360 Degree Analysis on girls : 3 Main types of girls

Credits to my HR Manager who taught me about 360 Degree Evaluations - Even though you were below me I learnt a lot from you man.

360 Degree Evaluation then came to my attention when I was evaluated in a training - Believe me guys it was really cool getting all the "YOU ARE AWESOME" comments from
1. People senior to you
2. Junior to you and
3. Parallel to you

As the 3 categories suggested - I was thinking how similar it applies to girls. There are different types of girl friends as 360 Degree evaluation suggests. Although its 360 Degrees, it is basically 3 categories. After How I met your mother latest episode (Season 06 episode 06 - "Baby Talk") I got the visual evidence i needed.

Here goes the 3 types of girlfriends you can have -

1. Girls who act senior to you - Mom like girlfriends
Example - She will look after everything about you - Watch video

2. Girls who act in the same level as you - Sister/Friend like girlfriends
Normal ones. Will show both 1 & 2 characteristics.

3. Girls who act junior to you - Daughter or Baby like girlfriends
Like babies. Will want you to do just everything. Good thing is they will make you feel needed. Watch video -

But guys, this totally depends on how you act also. Even you can act in 360 ways with a girl and her reaction will change.

WikiLeaks boss walks out of CNN Interview after rape allegations

After Fridays hot leak of critical military information through wikileaks.com - Mr.Julian Assange became the shining star of media.

But his interview with CNN ended in disaster after the reporter inquired about his personal life and the rape allegation against him. See photos below -

He has told that 100,000 deaths of innocent people are a more concerning factor..etc. Wikileaks supporters claim that Mr.julian is after lot of public personality damage from organized defense people.

Iraq is ready to sue WIKILEAKS

Wikileaks.com this week made public massive amount of confidential data about Iraq war.

The main revealation is the staggering death count. Wikileaks records more than 289000 deaths,half of which is said to be civilians.

The Pentagon,US government, UK government are totally angered about leaking of this information. But the angriest reaction came from Iraq.


Minister of Human Rights Wijdan Mikhail Salim said Monday. 'It's Iraq's right to sue the site. If there is freedom of expression, there is also the right to reply and the right to claim rights,' Salim has told state-run Al-Iraqiya TV channel.

it seems that they have formed a committee to look in to the accuracy of data in wikileaks.com. The reason behind this motive is that this revelation can be a threat to Iraq Prime Minister Nouri-Al-Maliki's second term prospects.

World cup octopus "Paul" dead

The octopus famed for forecasting winners of Soccer world cup games had been found dead yesterday.

Paul successfully predicted 7 matches in a row that brought lot of love and criticism from Football fans. It would select food from one of two boxes bearing the flags of competing nations.

Pauls best prediction was when it selected Spain over the Netherlands as the winner of the Soccer world cup.

The staff at the German aquarium has told that they were so devastated to find the octopus dead. A normal Octopus lives only around 2 years and thus it's not a big deal for them it seems. What really wikileaks leaked about Iraq? 11 Key revealations

All this fuss about wikileaks.com giving out massive amount of information on Iraq war. What are the key points revealed -

• US apache helicopters killed insurgents who were trying to surrender, according to the logs. An American military legal adviser told helicopter crew that Iraqi men were valid targets as they could not surrender to aircraft, the documents show. The Apache helicopter killed the two insurgents after being told that they were still legitimate targets even although they were offering to lay down their arms.

• More than 15,000 previously unrecorded deaths were contained in the files, according to one analysis of the figures. US military logs revealed 109,032 deaths between January 2004 and December last year. Iraq Body Count, the London-based organisation which monitors civilian deaths, concluded that 15,000 unrecorded civilian deaths will be added to the public record.

• Pentagon logs detail two cases of alleged abuse by British troops against Iraqi detainees. Two reports dated June 23 2008 describe claims from two Iraqi men – both of them Shias – who alleged they were punched and kicked by unidentified British soldiers. Both men, according to the reports posted on the Wikileaks website, suffered injuries that would have been consistent with their claims. There is no apparent record of an investigation taking place into the allegations.

• British soldiers repeatedly came under attack from US forces in a series of 'friendly fire' incidents. The files disclose that they were attacked in error on at least 11 occasions. In one incident, a commando with the Royal Marines was shot and wounded while, on another occasion at night, US troops, who had no night vision goggles and were listening to their iPods, began firing on a British patrol.

• British security agents were forced to change secret data including codes and signal frequencies after a helicopter dropped boxes containing sensitive information over Baghdad. The boxes, which included a number of different codes, were allowed to fall from a Puma helicopter flying over Baghdad in April 2006.

• Iran supplied chemical weapons to Iraqi militias for attacks against civilians and US targets. Iranian rockets with "neuroparalytic" agents were identified as a threat to American and British forces during the war in Iraq, according to reports included in the files.

• Iranian-backed forces supplied insurgents attacking coalition troops and devised new forms of suicide vests for al-Qaeda, according to Wikileaks assessments. They claim Iranian intelligence officers served inside Iraq, at one point manning checkpoints with local militias, and describe a firefight on the border in which American troops shot an Iranian border guard dead and then came under prolonged attack as they returned to base.

• US soldiers killed innocent Iraqi civilians at road checkpoints. In one incident, in September 2005, when a car failed to stop they fired warning shots before opening fire with automatic light machine guns, killing a man and a woman and wounding their children.

• Iraqi forces systematically beat and tortured prisoners, including women and children. The reports described prisoners being shackled, blindfolded and hung by wrists or ankles.

• British and American security contractors contributed to the chaos of war. A British firm, Aegis, suffered the highest losses of any company, according to analysis by the New York Times.

• American troops handed over captives to the infamous 'Wolf Brigade' torture squad, a feared unit controlled by the Iraq ministry of interior.

Distinguished guests, Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome Your Excellency to this great city. If you can ignore the oak trees and the mockingbirds you could easily mistake this for Sri Lanka.

It is in Sri Lanka that I was born, and my mother and the parents of my wife Shanthi, our grand fathers and grand mothers are all buried under the sacred soil of my motherland. I grew up Your Excellency, in Jaffna and moved to Colombo when I was only 10 years old. My wife is from Badulla, grew up in Diyatalawa where her dad was a well a respected captain in the army.

I have smelt the sweetness of Magosa trees in Jaffna and taste of the Red Jumbu fruits that left red stains on my white shirt as I walked to school in Colombo. I know the allure of Jack fruits ripening on the trees as crows begin to break them open.

I have seen the bright colour of pandals during Wesak and shamelessly ate food at Dansala meant for the poor. And I have heard the chanting of Kovils and inhaled the smell of jasmine and Joss sticks. I’ve heard the bell of All Saint’s church as I assisted Father Herath during Mass.

But since I left Sri Lanka in 1975 there has been such pain, such sorrow and such agony. The mighty Mahaweli Ganga that usually brings its sacred waters to the paddy fields spat out blood. Both the Sinhalese and Tamils. From up here in the United States I have watched the land of my forefathers descend from paradise deep into hell. No one can say with certainty who is to blame but the time for blaming is long gone.

Your Excellency, your power be descended from Dutugemunu and my people from Elara. Remember how Dutugemunu fought Elara on his Elephant Kandula and killed Elara. Dutugemunu of course is still remembered for uniting Sri Lanka for the first time. But he is also remembered for something else. After defeating and killing Elara he built a monument for Elara out of respect for his worthy opponent. He ordered all the citizens of the land to stop, dismount and pay respect to Elara. In so doing he not only showed what a great noble man he was. But also proved to be a great politician. He knew that He had to rule the Tamil people too after the defeat of Elara.

Your Excellency, faith and fortune and your great political skills have placed you at a unique point in history.

Children years to come, will read in their history books, that a great leader, a great warrior by the name of Mahinda Rajapaksa finally defeated the rebellion after nearly 25 years when several before him failed. They may even say that you are Dutugamunu of the 21 century. But if you want to wear Gemunu’s mantle, Your Excellency, you will have to build a monument too. That monument does not have to be a Dagoba or a building. It will have to be new policy backed by laws with teeth to enforce.

Do not make the mistake that started 58 riots. Do not hold back Tamils who want to get into Universities. Do not make the Tamils feel like they are second class citizens. Respect their religion, and respect their language. There is something about the Tamil people you need to know Your Excellency. To them their language is God. There are only few cultures in the world which has such devotion to the language.

You were trained as a lawyer and in your early career you were a formidable defender of human rights.

Now you have the popularity, you have the power of a hero, like Julius Caeser, returning to Rome from his conquests. No one can deny what you ask. Ask the parliament to pass some entrenched clauses; you and I read in law school. Then we have had to study the Soulbury Constitution. If you need my help I will give it free like many in this audience would. The Tamil people are naked and hungry looking for you to assure them that there is a place for them.

Make sure they have one. You killed one Prabhakaran but do not let another grow. You cannot prevent another one with swords and guns. You can only do that with your heart and wisdom. Compassion, truth and justice, you learnt from Buddha are the only weapons you will need. According to Dhamma Pada, Buddha said that hatred does not cease by hatred at any time. Hatred cease by love. This is an old rule. That's what the Buddha said.

Your Excellency, as you leave this fair city and return to Sri Lanka, promise me that a 10 year boy walking to school tomorrow in his white shirt will have no other red stain than from the Jumbu fruits. The morning crow will not open anything other than the jackfruit. That there will be nothing else hanging from the Magosa trees, than the fruits I smelt.

My previous post drew lot of attention and many De (Wait for it) Nied, denied the news. Among them was Beyonce's mom Tina.

My favourite rapper and one of the favourite businessmen is Jay Z. Along with my liking for Beyonce's songs they make my favourite celebrity couple - Making Bonie n Clyde and Crazy in love my all time favourite songs...So the news in US Weekly was really big...

It reported that the 29-year-old pop singer with hits like Crazy in love, Baby Boy, Irreplaceable, Beautiful liar, is pregnant and the pregnancy was a surprise.


"Beyonce was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn't ready to be a mother just yet," the source told the magazine. "She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again."

The web site also quoted sister Solange as saying Beyonce would make "a great mom" and record executive Kevin Lies as saying his rapper pal Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, "has been all about family."

In interviews after her 2008 wedding to the 40-year-old "Empire State of Mind" rapper, Beyonce, known for her chandelier earrings and skimpy skirts, said she would like to have a family but that she had no timeline.

Windows phone 7

This is the latest gadget talk of the time. The reason being the release of Windows phone 7.

When i told the the name "Windows phone 7" everyone was excited. Save your energy guys, It's only an operating system - NOT a phone. (But they are planning to release some phones with the Operating system)

Windows phone 7 is the windows mobile operating system replacing windows mobile 6.5. The big thing is that they have completely changed the look and feel of Windows mobile in order to complete with i phone.

Windows phone 7 will compete with the two biggest mobile platforms Android (Google) and iphone (Apple). It has the look of an iphone and a flexibility of android. I heard an article with Windows phone 7 saying "Daddy's Home" to Android and iphone.

Courtney Cox - David Arquette drama : Can younger guy marriages work???

Having grown up with FRIENDS still regarded one of the best TV shows ever - It was news for us.

Courtney and her husband David has separated while keeping good will and business partnerships. They have a child of 7 year old (Whose god mother is Jeniffer Aniston, a.k.a Rachel Green in Friends). Reports says that they discussed it with the kid on an outing saying "Adults need to separate sometimes..etc".

I heard from my good friend that Her husband was anyway 7 years younger and they had many problems. Even it was news for him that they separated. David has told media that Courtney was like his mom and many other private stuff between them. Apparently he's hooked up with Jasmine Waltz - a waitress shortly after separation.

So guys and girls, question over to you? Can marriages with younger guy really work???

Winners and Losers in the Chile Miners Rescue Drama

70 Days of Drama is over. But the curtain closes with applause for some actors and rotten eggs for some. Read below for the real winners and losers of this saga

• Chile workers Union leaders

Proved to the public how much risk miners take and the increase in payments justified.  A miner is paid something like $25,000 in Chile - best in latin america.

• President of Chile 

Seeing the miners coming alive might have seen votes on his eyes. President of Chile Sebestian Pinera  is a billionaire who's trying to pass on a tax legislation which increases govt income on mines. Now he has green light for that with the massive popularity.

• Codelco

The worlds largest copper producer and the owner of the mines got some free publicity by helping the rescue process. They lead the rescue proving that they can handle such a situation and remain in safe hands of the govt.

Losers

• Chile Mining Regulators

Proved unprepared for an incident like this.

• Small and Medium sized mine owners

Are now prohibited now because of the risk involved. Although the income might be less, this will be a blow to many pockets.

• The mines owners - local company

Faced loads of complaints from public.Is now filing for bankruptcy. The families of miners have filed a case against the company asking $10 million while local prosecutors have filed criminal charges against owners.

Mistress problem at Chile Miners Rescue

Was enthusiastically tuned in to Chile Miners resuce like i said in the last post, until i found this bro named Yonni Barrios very interesting.

When he was trapped he has revealed that he has another mistress named -  Susana Valenzuela when he was actually married to Marta Salinas.

He's supposed to come out of the mine around 8PM GMT He has invited both of his wives. But the legal wife has turned down the invitation saying that another lady is invited. Even the Chile's first lady has got in to the debate about this and she has fully approved what Marta is doing.

Timeline of Chile Miners Rescue from Aug 5 to now

It's been a great resuce mission so far, with all the world watching it. Every man, woman is talking about it. Few knowing the real facts.

For everyone's benefit i could collect this info and prepare the timeline of the key events from August 5th  - the day 33 of them were trapped.

• August 5 - Thirty-three miners are trapped underground when part of the San Jose mine in Chile's Atacama desert collapses.

• August 6 - Mining minister Laurence Golborne flies in to lead the rescue mission.

• 
  August 7 - A second collapse blocks access to the lower parts of the mine, hampering rescue efforts. President Sebastian Pinera visits the miners' relatives. Attempts are made to drill holes to the miners, but no contact is made.

• August 22 - Rescue workers hear tapping on a drill that has reached a depth of 688 metres. The miners are confirmed to be alive when it is disclosed they have tied a note to a listening probe that reads "all 33 of us are well inside the shelter". The first video of the miners is recorded and shows them to be in a better condition than feared.

• August 23 - Food, water and communication equipment are sent down a hole to the miners.
• August 30 - Rescuers decide the best way to free the miners is to drill three shafts and winch them to safety. The holes, named Plan A, Plan B and Plan C, are dug at the same time to try to rescue the men as quickly as possible.

• September 26 - The first of three rescue capsules built to lift out the men arrives at the mine.

• October 4 - Gifts sent to the miners during their period underground are returned to the surface in advance of their rescue.

• October 9 - The miners celebrate as a drilling rig breaks through into their underground chamber. It is decided that only the first 96 metres of the shaft need to be reinforced.

• October 11 - A test rescue capsule is successfully sent nearly all the way down to where the miners are trapped. Rescue team co-ordinator Andre Sougarret posts a message on Twitter reading: "Today the miners sleep their last night together!".

• October 12 - Final preparations and test runs are carried out before the rescue mission proper gets under way. Rescuer Manuel Gonzalez is lowered down the shaft and is shown greeting the miners on video footage. Shortly before midnight local time, 31-year-old Florencio Avalos, the miner chosen as the first to be freed, enters the rescue capsule and his journey to the surface begins

Florencio Avalos is the first of 33 miners to be freed from a mine in Chile after 69 days underground.

• October 13 - Mr Avalos reaches the surface amid scenes of jubilation, wearing sunglasses to protect his eyes. He embraces relatives and rescuers before being taken for medical tests.

The whole world is watching this saga - With tears in their eyes. Until the worlds' logest rescue mission is over.

Student Thesis on guys she slept with goes viral in internet....

It was hot news last week in US about this Duke University girl's thesis on her encounters. She named it - "An education beyond the classroom : Excelling in the realm of horizontal academics".

She has recorded all details and created a nice power point on 13 athletes she had it with. Including how, where, sizes and every detail. I don't know for what reason she emailed it to three of her friends. The friends have emailed to their friends and eventually it created a massive trend all over the world.

It started appearing in web sites (Even now you can read it) and everyone was talking about it. Her name "Karen Owen" and "Duke University" became one of the biggest search terms in google recently.

This event had raised concerns about several factors

1. Relationships of modern day - How shallow they are.
She has done it purely for the sake of thesis. And sometimes in the University library. Can you imagine???

2. Women's sexual evolution
She had it wit hat least 13 and she publicized it. In Asia or in the past she could have been really ashamed. But see where the girls are heading to nowadays....LOL

3. Power of internet
She has apologized about it going viral. But what can she do now? Guys, Really be careful of what you post on Social networks like Facebook, Twitter or even Email. All small talks can go viral to become the next - big thing.

Why Facebook girls "like it in" different places?

But what is it???

You must have seen it on status these few days. The problem is that our guys go wild seeing something like this and comments.

It was day before yesterday when we started noticing the status of girls. Having gone thru the country code, bra colour code and other stupid initiatives by girls (Come on - why can't they stop being stupid...LOL) I knew its something stupid...

First saw it in my friend now living in Australia (Let's call her a senior - respect), and she was really proud to say "I like it on the floor in my room....". Dozens of ppl have commented - with some girls making it more boring by saying - i like it almost anywhere...


Then yesterday morning, I caught the same in my ex - co-workers status. She had - "i like it on the bed.. seriously :)". One of guys had commented - "Everyone likes it in bed" - And guys - "it" is not what they were talking about.  

They are putting the status telling where they like to keep their handbag or purse when they come home. But they intentionally omit "purse" or "handbag" to create curiosity. This is done as an exercise to celebrate the breast cancer awareness month (October) it seems.

Basically guys - Girls can't keep a secret for more than few hours. Another point is the futility of their exercise. Come on - Whats the relationship between Breast cancer and handbag or purse???...LOL

Online marketing is typically the same as Traditional marketing in terms of the bases. Only exception is that there are numerous different bases that could be adopted in online marketing.

This is basically the segmentation by location.
E.g. City, Village, State, Country, Region..etc.
Google Analytics provides a very good tool with which you can even track the city of your site visitors (In Sri Lanka - Only Colombo and Kandy Possible, But in US hundreds of cities possible)
Given below are geographic data about Facebook users.

3. Psychographics
Activation, Interests, opinions, Personality, Values...etc.

4. Behaviour with respect to the Product
 Usage, Benefits sought, Brand loyalty, user status..etc.

Apart from this basic bases, even combined bases like geo-demographics could be used.


Or as i said above numerous bases like "Budget" can be used.

Interesting facts about law/cases - Tight jeans makes Raper not guilty

This is one interesting case discussed in law class. (Taken from Dailymail - link given below)

Tight-fitting: Skinny jeans like those worn by the alleged rape victim

A man was released of a rape case  after a jury agreed his victim could not have been sexually assaulted while wearing skinny jeans.

Nicholas Gonzales, 23, told a court in Australia that sex with the 24-year-old woman was consensual, despite her claim he had ripped off her size six skinny jeans before the attack.

The Sydney jury sent a note to the judge during the trial asking for more information about 'how exactly Nick took off her jeans'.

The note from a jury member added: 'I doubt those kind of jeans can be removed without any sort of collaboration.'

The not guilty finding follows two other courts - in Seoul and Italy - dealing with the question of whether a woman wearing the tight-fitting jeans can be raped.

In the Seoul case in 2008, the court overturned a seven-year sentence of a man convicted of raping a woman wearing skinny jeans.

But in the same year an Italian court upheld a rape conviction, ruling that 'jeans cannot be compared to any type of chastity belt.'

Mr Gonzales, the Sydney court was told, had met his victim for drinks in April 2008 before going to his house to listen to music.

The woman said they had gone upstairs to his room so he could play his drums - but he had pushed her onto the bed and lay on top of her.

'I struggled to try to get up for a while and then he undid my jeans and he pulled them off,' she said, before adding that she was then raped.

Questioned by defence lawyer Paul Hogan, the woman said she weighed 42 kilograms (6.6 stone) and did not find it difficult to squeeze in and out of her jeans.

Mr Hogan said: 'I'm suggesting it's difficult for skinny jeans to be taken off by someone else unless the wearer's assisting, collaborating, consenting.' 'Ii would disagree,' the woman replied.

Student claim - J'pura Vc sending 5 girls to Hospital : Different point of view

This is a follow up to my last week article on the public scam of "Student Union claiming the Vice Chancellor has sent 5 girls for Virginity test".

What J'pura VC trying to do is right, But his method is wrong...

After my article (Yes - totally because of the article) the Vice chancellor and director of the hospital spoke on national radio to say nothing like that happened.

Met a non-academic staff who has decades of experience in UNI. Having seen stuff, having experienced bad things he had a lot to say about the incident -

He straightly took the side of students on the following points
- There has been no complaints of rape or anything - so everything is happening under consent
- The girls are doing it with their lovers - so administration shouldnt interfere
- If administration stops it in University - they will have to go to rented rooms,.,etc which could mean pretty serious things

Only bad points he said was that the behaviour is inappropriate for staff and for other students, when it is done in public in inappropriate times.

Again he sympathized the students by saying it is because the SCI students go to Mgt faculty and Mgt and Arts comes to science so they dont know the staff and they do not know to respect. Other problem is time. If they can engage in stuff after working hours - it should be ok it seems.

But even he was upset abt people making this use for political motives.

The goal of a University student should be to study well and go out to contribute to their family and the society which paid for their education.
